New Hampshire Project WET, Project WILD, and the Lake Sunapee Protective Association are offering a teacher professional development workshop about climate, water, wildlife, and resilience. Workshop is designed for middle and high school teachers (formal, non-formal, and homeschool) who want to incorporate climate activities and discussions into their lessons.

Best for ages 6-12. In this program we will try different kinds of paper and models to find out how to make the best paper airplane. Join in the Selig Storytime Room to build your own airplanes and launchers. We will see who can get their airplane to fly the farthest! No sign-ups required.

Each year since 2010, people unite to celebrate a sport in its most authentic form. They lace up their skates and hit the ice for three days of outdoor hockey and cold beers. Over 275 teams compete in 500+ games across 26 rinks, bringing the sport back to the basics.

The 40th Annual Ski & Ride-A-Thon is happening on February 1, 2025, at the stunning Mount Sunapee in Newbury, NH. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a snow newbie, this event has something for everyone—all while supporting adaptive sports programs for individuals with disabilities.
